I began writing at a young age—nothing serious, of course, but I've always had a story in my head. My first "serious plunge" into writing started back in 1999 for a virtual series that spoofed "The X-Files". The series ran for nine seasons and two movies and I learned a lot about story telling, character, comedy, action, and drama. It was also written in screenplay format, which was a big time saver when the writing staff consisted of myself and my sister (though we did have the occasional guest writer). Since then, I wrote an unfinished novel-length story set in the "Lost" world, and have dabbled here and there for game writing. But nothing really "post" worthy, or maybe they were, not sure yet. Needless to say, Writing and me have been at odds for a bit, but hopefully something will come back to me... |
